About
Mr. Williams has over 18 years of experience in air quality regulation. He has been providing on-site permit review and program implementation support for the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP). His experience covers a broad range of activities, including pre-application conferences with facility representatives, review and evaluation of air permit applications, and preparation of draft and final versions of comprehensive operating permits. He has reviewed preconstruction permits including technical review, compliance determination with federal and state regulations, and writing of the permit requirements.
He has assisted in preparation and review of standard permit conditions for petroleum product storage terminals, petroleum refineries, and chemical manufacturing plants. He has also reviewed air quality permit applications for industrial facilities in the feed and grain, rug and carpet manufacturing, and textile industries in Georgia.
Mr. Williams has provided support to the NJDEP’s emission statement program and has reviewed emission statements. He assisted in preparation of revisions to the emission statements program guidance document and emission statement regulations.
